... because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." ~ Romans 8:14,15

Service Opportunities
We believe that every Christian has been given at least one spiritual gift to build up the body of Christ. Many opportunities present themselves to allow members to use those gifts in practical ways. Teaching or helping with Sunday School and/or Awana Club are excellent ways for believers in the church to exercise their spiritual gift or gifts. Visiting those with special needs such as our elderly, shut-ins, or those hospitalized is needed. Many assist with teaching our confirmands during confirmation classes. Some participate as lay worship leaders on sundays by assisting the pastor in leading worship services. Some enjoy serving as ushers and/or greeters, making people feel at home when they enter the church building. Others offer their musical abilities to the Lord to enrich the worship experience. The congregation is always open to new ideas that come our way to build up the body of Christ and increase our witness to a community and world in great need.
